Iraq Energy Expo: Towards Energy Integration in Iraq

The Iraq Energy Exhibition and Conference kicked off at its sixth edition (6 IEE) in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad from April 22nd to 24th, with the participation of 86 Arab and foreign companies specialized in the field of energy.

The Iraqi Ministry of Electricity issued a statement stating that US General Electric (GE), ABB of Sweden, Siemens of Germany and Mass Holding of Iraq are participating in the exhibition, among many others. The exhibition is held under the theme of “Investing Towards the Integration of Energy in Iraq.

The ministry aims to open the horizons of investment and joint cooperation with the Ministry of Electricity.

A conference was held in the presence of international experts to discuss the reality of energy in Iraq and review the investment prospects in order to create a promising market for energy in the country.
