The start of production of equipment for El-Dabaa NPP

The Russian state company Rosatom announced the start of production of equipment for the “El-Dabaa” nuclear plant, the first nuclear power plant in Egypt. The First Deputy Director General of Nuclear Energy at Rosatom Alexander Lukshin said that the official start of the construction of a nuclear power plant in Egypt is scheduled for the first half of next July. It is noteworthy that Rosatom is also currently manufacturing the nuclear reactor core catcher for the Egyptian plant.
