Made in China: the Emergency Diesel Generator

Shaanxi Diesel Engine Heavy Industry Ltd. (SXD) recently signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement with CSIC No.719 Research Institute (719). Together with this agreement, both sides nail down the development supply contract of EDG Electric control cabinet for Fuqing 5&6. The government was looking for a way to break the foreign duopoly maintained by Alstom and MTU, and export back to new markets.

Mr. Li Zangren,deputy secretary of SXD and Mr. Weng Zhenping,the Director of 719 signed on the long-term strategic cooperation agreement. While Mr. Cheng Xinhe, the General Manager of SXD-Xi’an Power Station Engineering and Mr. Liu Lingxue, the General Manager of 719-Haiwang New Energy signed the development supply contract of EDG electric cabinet for Fuqing 5&6.
