Last March 1st, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and AREVA held a senior management conference focused in their industrial partnership in Paris.
The conference was jointly presided over by CNNC’s chairman, Wang Shoujun, and AREVA’s chairman, Philippe Varin.
The two chairmen reviewed the ongoing cooperative progress of the nuclear fuel cycle industry, and exchanged thoughts on recent collaborative projects and work schemes that would follow, eventually reaching several agreements.
The conference was an example of putting into practice the framework agreement for industrial and commercial cooperation signed in the presence of China’s Premier Li Keqiang and French Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve on Feb 21.
