CNNC and Moldova nuclear cooperation

In May, CNNC met in Beijing the vice president and Office Director of the Ministry of Economy, Mr. Eugene Gray, and his delegation.

Both parties share information on the cooperation in a small pool-type nuclear project and the photovoltaic power station project. During the meeting, CNNC signed a NDA with the Accent Group and submitteda proposal regarding these two projects.

 

CNNC low-temperature pool-type nuclear project has the objectives to become of low cost, simple structure, short construction cycle and high safety reactor. CNNC has rich experience in the design, construction and operation of this kind of heating reactor.

CNNC recommended to the delegation to cooperate on such reactor to solve the winter heat supply problems in Moldova.

 

CNNC management attached great importance on the cooperation with Moldova in the new energy. It concluded the meeting by offering a package of service to Moldova including the nuclear regulation system establishment, staff training and the supply chain organization etc.
