On May 10， by the witness of the deputy general manager of the CNNC Mr. Yu Peigen, the China National Nuclear Power Company (“CNNP”) signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement with the CNNC Environmental Protection Engineering Business Division. The president of the CNNP Mr. Chen Hua and the major leaders from the Business Division attended the signing ceremony.
According to the deal, the two parties will jointly work from the following aspects in future: the radioactive waste management in the nuclear facility; radioactive materials transport, storage and disposal; the spent fuel reprocessing and decommissioning; the wind power & photovoltaic industry as well as the nuclear environmental protection.
In the future, both sides will also start a full scope exchange and cooperation in the public education and the on-site supporting and logistics service.
