Thousands of centrifuges started enrichment operations in Iran

Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has confirmed that thousands of centrifuges are currently enriching uranium in the country.

“In addition to the enrichment process, heavy water is also being produced in larger quantities than before, which we are exporting with related technology,” the Iranian atomic energy organization said in a statement.

They pointed in the statement that the injection of “UF6” gas in centrifuges (IR8) had a capacity 20 times fold compared to centrifuges (IR1).
