Russia finances nuclear education in Jordan

The director of the Russian cultural center in Amman, Dr. Vadim Zaitchkov, announced that Russian government offered 50 scholarships in the field of nuclear energy and technology for Jordanian students at the bachelor’s and master’s levels in the next academic year 2017/2018.

The students will study at the National university of nuclear research in Moscow (MEPHI).

These scholarships are part of boosting the long historical relationships between Russia and Jordan, especially in the field of nuclear energy.

The Russian cultural center called whom wishes to get benefit from these scholarships, to apply via the Center’s website starting from Monday (6th of March) till the 15th of March.

Zaichkov said that the applicants will be interviewed on the 15th of March 2017 between 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm, indicating the need to bring the required academic certificates mentioned on the website.

He emphasized that these scholarships will provide great opportunities regarding the preparation of Jordanian cadres that can operate in wide scientific and technical fields.
