The official website of the National Energy Administration announced that China and Europe have reached common agreements in the fields of the renewable energy and nuclear.
At the beginning of June, the 7th China-EU Energy Dialogue Conference was held in Brussels. The director of NEA Mr. Nur Bekri, and the Committee member of Climate Action and Energy Mr. Canet jointly chaired the meeting.
Mr. Nur Bekri stated that China is the major energy consumer while EU is the important exporter, therefore, both sides have share a common interest in the energy safety guarantee, energy structure transformation, climate change response and the sustainable development of the economic development.
Mr. Canet said that EU will expand the energy cooperation with China, especially in the aspect of the clean energy.
During the Dialogue Meeting, both sides also exchanged their opinions around the topics of the renewable energy, nuclear power, electromobile, global energy network, energy innovation and investment etc. Meanwhile, Mr. Bekri and Mr. Canet signed the “China-EU Energy Cooperation Roadmap—2017/2018 Working Plan”.
