Following the “Energy Cooperation Framework Agreement”between China General Nuclear Corporation (CGN) and Yunnan Province Government, another framework to deepen both sides’ cooperation has been achieved.
According to the document, CGN and Yunnan government will start a cooperation in several ongoing projects, including the water extraction project within the province, and electricity corridor project between China and Burma and Bangladesh, and the electricity output from Yunnan province. In addition, CGN will increase the investment in the South Asian new energy mix and the energy saving projects.
Mr. Ruan Chengfa, the provincial governor of Yunnan Province and Mr. Zhang Shanming, the general manager of CGN attended the signing ceremony.
