Wartsila business in Morocco

The Finnish based Wartsila announced that it signed an agreement with Morocco regarding the construction of 22 MW Power Plant. The power plant comes as a highly demanded project in Morocco since there is an increasing demand for electricity.

The power plant will consist of Wartsilla’s 46 heavy fuel oil engines which also use light fuel as a back-up. It is expected that that the power plant will be operational by January 2019.

*Wartsilla is specialized in building engines and shipbuilding. It operates 170 branches in about 70 countries with a professional and specialized engineering team. The company is especially well-known in the Arabian Gulf Region.
