Dabaa Nuclear project will be signed soon

Egypt has been taking solid steps towards finalizing all needed documents to start the construction of Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant.

 The Egyptian Cabinet agreed on modifying the number 13 law for the year 1979 on establishing the Power Generation Nuclear Power Plants Body. The modification of the law will provide tax and customs exemptions. Also, One of the two contracts for the Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant is finalized and revised by the Egyptian Cabinet Court. These two contracts are planned to be signed with Russia.

It is planned that the second contract will be discussed in a session by the Contract Revision Committee on 18th September. In addition, all the notes taken about the first contract will be sent to the Egyptian Government on 14th September.
