On January 4, 2018, Mr. Wang Shoujun, Chairman and Party Secretary of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), met with Zou Lei, chairman of Dongfang Electric Group and party secretary, at the headquarter of CNNC. Yu Peigen, deputy general manager of CNNC, Huang Wei and Xu Peng, deputy general managers of Dongfang Electric accompanied them.
Wang Shoujun said CNNC hopes to continue to strengthen cooperation with Dongfang Electric in the research, development and manufacture of nuclear power equipment and seek more cooperation opportunities in the international market development.
Zou Lei affirmed that Dongfang Electric must pay deep attention to implementing and comprehensively promoting the existing cooperation projects with CNNC and to enter the international market as early as possible.
The leaders from Planning and Development Department, Market Development and Capital Management Department, Nuclear Power Engineering Company, Atomic Energy Agency and Nuclear Power Institute of China attended the meeting.
