The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey in Nuclear projects

Nurettin Özdebir, chairman of the Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) recently declared that Ankara industrialists are continuing their technology and knowledge transfer activities in the field of nuclear energy.

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB*) and ASO organized the seminar “Quality Management System in the Nuclear Industry Standards and Nuclear Safety Culture” . The seminar aimed to train the human resources and to enhance the research and development for a national supply chain.

TOBB Board Member Treasurer Faik Yavuz stated that although the initial investment costs of nuclear power plants are high, the operating costs are low and this technology brings significant contributions to the scientific studies and to the industry. TOBB has  a membership of totalling to 1.4 million companies.
