Chengdu, a rising start in Nuclear Business

On May 22, Huang Mingang, chief economist of China National Nuclear Corporation, met with Liu Liedong, deputy mayor of Chengdu,a southwestern city in China, and his delegation at the headquarters.

Huang Mingang emphasized that Chengdu, as a famous city in the motherland, has great potential for future development. China National Nuclear Corporation will increase cooperation with Chengdu, actively promote related projects, establish a platform for scientific and technological innovation, and strive to transform scientific research capabilities into local pillar business.

Liu Liedong, on behalf of the Chengdu Municipal Government, stated that in the future, through further cooperation with China National Nuclear Corporation, the relevant industries will grow. Meanwhile, Chengdu Municipal Government will also further improve the construction of supporting facilities and infrastructure, and actively promote the development of various related projects.

The leaders of from Planning and Development Department, Department of Science and Information Technology, Department of Market Development and Capital Management, and the Southwestern Institute of Physics of the Nuclear Industry participated in the meeting.
