The energy industry in Central and Eastern Europe expectations with China

The China-Europe Power Market Symposium organized by China Energy Construction Group Co., Ltd. was held in Vilnius, Lithuania. The people of the energy industry in Central and Eastern Europe expressed their desire to reach a win-win relation with China in this area.

At the seminar, senior officials from the energy sector, heads of international organizations, and industry figures from Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, and Georgia discussed issues such as opening up a new space for green economy and deepening clean and renewable energy cooperation.

Wang Jianping, Chairman of China Energy Construction, addressed the meeting and said that the purpose of this seminar is to strengthen extensive and in-depth communication with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe in the field of clean energy, jointly promote the upgrade of clean energy technology innovation services in Central and Eastern European countries.

Lina Sabetterne, Lithuania’s deputy minister of energy, said that by the end of June, Lithuania would adopt a new national strategy for energy security. Its focus is to develop clean and renewable energy. This seminar is undoubtedly a win-win cooperation in this field. A good start, “In the future we will further strengthen cooperation with China in this area.”

Sabetterne declared that “16+1 cooperation” is a very important platform. It not only gives Lithuania the opportunity to cooperate with China in a win-win situation, but also provides a useful multilateral platform for Lithuania to compete and share with Central and Eastern European countries.

The vice chairman of the World Wind Energy Association and chairman of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association Andriy Konyechenkov stated that Ukraine is currently vigorously developing renewable energy. China is a leader in this field, and its technology, engineering speed, and product quality are strong. Competitiveness. It is hoped that more and more Chinese enterprises and advanced technologies will help Ukraine in this area.
