Uruguay and the Dominican Republic cooperation in renewable energy

An instance of south-south cooperation was developed in which technicians from the National Energy Directorate of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining (MIEM) and the National Energy Commission of the Caribbean country participated.

In addition to the meeting held at the MIEM, the Dominican technicians visited a wind farm and were received by UTE, the Regulatory Unit for Energy and Water Services (Ursea), the Electricity Market Administration (ADME), the Uruguayan Accreditation Organization ( OUA) and Unit (Uruguayan Institute of Technical Standards), among other exchange activities.
