On June 13, China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) and China SINOMACH Heavy Industry Corporation signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement and formally reached a strategic partnership.
Under this deal, two parties will further cooperate on advanced nuclear energy technologies, nuclear fundamental and common technologies, and nuclear application technologies on the basis of original cooperation. Furthermore, they plan to establish an interactive cooperation mechanism of production, education and research through jointly undertaking scientific research projects and jointly developing a third market.
China SINOMACH Heavy Industry Corporation, a subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Corporation. It is the only company that integrates science, industry and trade in China’s heavy equipment, and is also a major supplier of heavy equipment for the domestic power, aerospace, petrochemical, and metallurgical industries. It is capable of providing complete sets of technology and equipment for major construction projects from all over the world.
