On the sidelines of the 62ndsession For the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Ali Akbar Salehi, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, declared that Iran is looking to operate small and medium reactors; because of Iran’s climatic conditions.
The Iranian official stressed the importance of cooperation with China in this field, adding that his country welcomes China’s participation in the modernization project of the Arak reactor.
