The 15th China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit was held at Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangxi, southwest of China. Vice Premier of State Council Han Zheng attended the opening ceremony together with his fellows Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and more than 10 other leaders from ASEAN countries. Tan Jiansheng, deputy general manager of China General Nuclear Power Group （CGN）, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and actively introduced CGN to all parties.
Tan Jiansheng said that CGN is stepping up efforts to promote “Qianlong No. 1” and other clean energy development in Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia.
Shi Weiqi, general manager of CGN International Cooperation Department, introduced CGN’s scientific and technological achievements presented in this exhibition, including three-generation nuclear power technology “Hualong No.1”, Firmsys-DCS system, plasma solid waste treatment and electron beam treatment industrial wastewater.
NβN tip: Except for “Hualong No.1”, Firmsys-DCS system, plasma solid waste treatment and electron beam treatment industrial wastewater are also in the scope of proposals of CGN to seek cooperation with overseas suppliers.
