Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan defend the nuclear pact

Last December, Iran, Turkey, and Azerbaijan defended the sealed nuclear agreement between Tehran and six nuclear powers and criticized the unilateral exit of the United States.

After a meeting in Istanbul, the Iranian foreign ministers, Mohammed Yavad Zarif; Turkish, Mevlut Cavusoglu, and Azeri, Elmar Mammadyarov, stated to defend principles such as international law, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, protection of borders, dialogue to resolve disputes and non-intervention in internal affairs.

Likewise, the joint declaration highlights the disposition to fight against terrorism, extremism, and separatism in all its forms, as well as against transnational organized crime, the illegal arms trade, human trafficking, and cybercrime, among others.
