Tenders for wind power and desalination projects in Dubai

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has invited advisory companies to submit their bids for a feasibility study for the wind power generation project in the Hatta region. Dewa has set the deadline for receiving feasibility studies on July 23rd.

DEWA has also invited construction companies to bid for the first phase of the Hesyan desalination plant in Dubai. Dewa said the deadline is on July 9th.

In February, DEWA has invited consulting firms to submit feasibility studies for the Hesyan plant project, which will be the first desalination plant in Dubai to be implemented with an independent product system. All previous desalination plants in the emirate have been implemented with government-backed standard contracts.
