UAE’s Masdar co-develop renewable energy in Greece

Masdar Taaleri Generation D.O.O has signed a MoU with PPCR S.A, a renewable energy subsidiary of the Greek, state owned, Public Power Corporation S.A, which is the largest power generation company in Greece.

The two parties agreed to focus on wind and solar energy projects, with projects implementation to be based on the optimal business model and cooperation structure, in line with each party’s respective corporate policies.

Through their joint efforts, they aim to develop at least 300 MW of renewable energy projects, which is in line with Greece’s ambitious goals to further integrate renewables into the energy mix.

Masdar Taaleri Generation D.O.O is a joint venture between the Emirati company Masdar and the Finnish renewable energy company Taaleri Energia, at 50% for each, and focuses on developing renewable energy projects in Central and Eastern Europe.
