Gaziantep integrate the Akkuyu NPP Supply Chain in Turkey

The Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GSO) conducted on January 15, an information meeting on materials needed for the construction of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NGS). The participants learned about the material procured, the necessary conditions to participated in the tenders, and the payment process. 

Adnan Ünverdi, GSO Chairman of the Board, emphasized on the quality standard required in the Akkuyu project and pointed out the creation of the SME Development and Industrial Transformation Unit within GSO. This unit aims to support the technological transition for the industry in engineering, R&D, and UR-GE studies for the Turkish manufacturers.  

Adnan ÜnverdiIt concluded that companies from Gaziantep which participated in the meeting had a better chance to integrate the nuclear supply chain.
