Unit 1 and Unit 2 of the Chinese Sanmen nuclear power plant have obtained a 38-years operating license.
In accordance with the relevant requirements of the ” Nuclear Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China ” and “Regulations on the Safety Supervision and Administration of Civil Nuclear Facilities of the People’s Republic of China”, after reviewing the application documents submitted by Sanmen Nuclear Power Co., Ltd, China’s National Nuclear Safety Administration has finally agreed to issue a license for the operation of Units 1 and 2 of Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant, which is valid until 2058.
