Japan is prospecting in the Indonesian Nuclear Program

Several countries follow the plan to build a Nuclear Power Plant (PLTN) in West Kalimantan. Japan recently sent a delegation from the JAIF International Cooperation Center.

West Kalimantan Governor Sutarmidji explained that PLTN is a need for cheap energy, and its development is in phase with the national development plan, namely RPJMN.

In December 2019, France and Japan, visited the Equatorial Earth to find out the seriousness of West Kalimantan to develop nuclear sites. Previously Russia found out the predisposition of natural resources (SDA), including human resources (HR).

Mr. Nakayama from the Japanese Embassy in Jakarta, accompanied by Mr. Toba and Mr. Takimoto from the JAIF International Cooperation Center (JICC), explained that West Kalimantan would be the only Province in Indonesia to cooperate with Japan through nuclear power.

Japan considers the Kalimantan region to be a strategic area in building a nuclear power plant both in terms of HR and SDA.
