Solar power for new residential projects in Dubai

Siraj Power has entered into 2 new partnerships to supply two residential projects with solar power in Dubai.

This comes after the success of its project with DP World to provide solar energy for employees’ housing in the Jebel Ali Free Zone earlier this year.

The company signed an agreement with Al Khail Heights (of Texture Holdings) and Green Coast Real Estate Company in the Mirdif Villas project to install a 3 MW solar power system, which is capable of generating 5 GW/h per year, in addition to reducing more than 3 thousand metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, equivalent to charging about 450 million smartphones.
