Abraaj Group and Engie are investing in India

The Dubai-based Abraaj Group in cooperation with the Engie (France) will build wind power plants in nine Indian states.

Mr. Sebastian Arbola, the CEO of Engie, said in a statement that these projects aim at developing clean energy projects since there is an increasing demand for power in India. Also, they are done to help the country attain sustainable development.

Mr. Saad Zaman, Abraaj Representative, said that this cooperation with Engie is the second of its kind and it aims at generating power from wind energy since it is a competitive solution for energy costs.
