ADNOC CEO talks about the growth of energy production in the UAE

Sultan Al-Jaber, CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company “ADNOC“, confirmed that the company is on its way to increase its production capacity of crude oil to 4 million barrels per day by the end of the year.

He also stated that the UAE is on the right path to achieving self-sufficiency in gas production, along the way, it will eventually become a gas exporter.

Al-Jaber added that the UAE will be the first country in the region to operate a peaceful and safe nuclear power plant in 2020. The UAE is building the Barakah nuclear power plant, the largest nuclear power new build project under construction in the world, with a production capacity of 5600 MW.
