Algeria and Germany cooperate in their Energy Transition

The Minister of energy transition and renewable energies Chems Eddine Chitour and the German Ambassador to Algeria Elisabeth Wolbers declared that Algeria and Germany aim to cooperate in their energy transition.

During the first quarter of 2021, both countries will organize in Algiers Algerian-German energy day in the energy transition.

Mr. Chitour indicated that the areas of cooperation with Germany are manufacturing technologies, the transfer of know-how and expertise, training, and research development within the Institute of Energy Transition of Sidi Abdallah.

For her part, the Ambassador welcomed the Ministry of Energy Transition and Renewable Energies, which will make it possible to collaborate more closely on subjects of common interest, particularly for the implementation of the solar plant.
