Bahrain to cooperate with Switzerland in renewable energy

The Bahraini Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, received a Swiss delegation led by the Swiss Consul General in Bahrain, Mr. Humbert Vincent Buemi. The other members in the delegation were representatives from different Swiss firms that are interested in investing in renewable energy, including the CEO of Solmani, Mr. Gregoire Galland.

 

The main aim of the meeting was to discuss water, electricity, and renewable energy business opportunities for these companies in Bahrain. Dr. Mirza mentioned the strong ties between Bahrain and Switzerland and how Bahrain welcomes the initiatives of these firms. He said that the country encourages renewable energy businesses and projects.
