The second-phase project and the small reactor project in Hainan Nuclear Power Base have resumed construction on February 22 and February 28 respectively, after passing the site inspection and evaluation organized by the local government.
The second phase of the project is fully promoting project approval and earth-rock engineering at the site, while the small modular reactor are being filling up the bed rock.
Nearly 700 people, including the project management staff, construction staff and logistics support staff of the two projects have returned to their positions.
