On July 10, Li Fanrong, deputy director of the National Energy Administration, attended the 8th Ministerial Meeting of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum in Beijing and signed the agreement on the establishment of the China-Africa Clean Energy Training Center on behalf of the National Energy Administration and the Arab League Secretariat.
According to the agreement, the National Energy Administration and the Arab League Secretariat plan to jointly establish a China-Africa Clean Energy Training Center in Beijing. The two sides will organize training in photovoltaic, solar thermal, wind power and smart grid through the center.
In addition to the establishment of a training center in Beijing, the two sides will also establish one or more sub-centres in the Arab countries based on actual conditions.
