China expands in East Timor

On April 18th, Liu Zhenhua, business counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste visited the East Timor branch of China Nuclear Industry22nd Company (CNI22) forpotential market inspection and survey.

Liu Zhenhua made several comments for the development of the current branch company.  CNI 22 needs to lobby in the power grid project and to enhance the corporate image locally.

CNI 22 will have to provide more market information to other Chinese companies and to focus on the going out strategy. Then the participation in joint projects will be easier.

CNI22 stated that the energymarket inTimor-Leste, despite a small population of 1,27 Million, has a strong potential for Chinese overseas prospection.
