China-Russia Fund.. a platform that makes a difference

The 2nd China-Russia Energy Business Forum was held under the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Putin attended the China-Russia Energy Business Forum. Jiang Yi, General Manager of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) attended the opening ceremony of the forum and gave a keynote speech at the power sub-forum on the topic of “Sino-Russian Funds as a Platform to Deepen Sino-Russian Clean Energy Cooperation”.

Jiang Yi said that as the initiator of the Sino-Russian fund, SPIC will give full play to the fund in the aspects of financial support and industrial coordination, and actively promote cooperation between China and Russia in the field of clean energy such as hydropower, wind power, solar energy, natural gas and nuclear energy, and jointly promote the “One Belt, One Road” to go to a deeper and deeper reality.

During the forum, Jiang Yi and State Power Investment Delegation, together with Russian Hydropower Group, Russian Foreign Trade Bank and other enterprises carried out in-depth exchanges on cooperation in hydropower and new energy projects.
