China to Restart Eastern Coastal Nuclear Power Construction

Li PuminLi PuMin, Secretary General of the National Development and Reform Commission, said on January 4th that China has included coastal nuclear power project into the national major project construction package and will start a batch of coastal nuclear power engineering projects adopting the international highest safety standards on the premise of ensuring security.

At present, the nuclear power plants in eastern coastal China to be approved and constructed are Hongyanhe phase II, Xudapu phase I and Lufeng phase I.
