CNEC sits on a ton of cash

China Nuclear Engineering Corporation (CNEC) recently announced the total value of its newly signed nuclear contracts this year from January to September : 11.70 billion RMB (USD 1.73 Billion), growing by 298.85% year on year.

This growth far exceeds the military projects and civil engineering, which only increasing by 127.18% and 14.21% respectively.

Merely from June to September, CNEC won two nuclear contracts worth of almost 4 billion RMB (USD 600 Million). One is the nuclear island civil construction of Tianwan 5/6 and its contract values is around 1.842 billion RMB (USD 274 Million). While the other is the nuclear island installation project of Fangchenggang 3/4 and its contract value is 2.002 billion RMB (USD 297 Million).
