From June 19 to 21, the 9th Russian International Nuclear Industry Expo, sponsored by ROSATOM, was held in Moscow. China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) was the only Chinese enterprise attending the Expo.
Mr. He Zixing, vice president of CNNC, led the Chinese delegation. The aim was to introduce the Chinese capability to the 6000 representatives from 120 international agencies attending the event.
CNNC was presenting the Hualong No.1, the Linglong No.1, the pool-type low-temperature nuclear heating reactor, and its latest innovation in nuclear fuel assembly etc.
CNNC highlighted the 20th Anniversary of its cooperatoi with Russia, in particular in the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant.
Mr. He Zixing received Mr. Kiriyenko, the first deputy director of the Russian President General Office and former head of Rosatom, Mr. Likhachev, the actual head of Rosatom, the Secretary-general of World Nuclear Association Mr. Agneta Rising and the director-general of the Nuclear Energy Agency Mr. William Magwood.
After this Expo, Mr. He Zixing visited Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine to exchange experience regarding the public communication of the nuclear projects.
Finally, the delegation went to New Constantine Uranium mine to discuss a commercial operation.
