CNNC enters into Brazil Market

December 5, João Carlos Derzi Tupinambá, the president of the Industry Nuclear of Brazil (INB) led a delegation to meet the General Manager Mr. Qian Zhimin at the headquarters of the China National Nuclear Power Corporation (CNNC). The two parties exchange the potential cooperation chances in the fields of uranium resources, the fabrication and supply of the nuclear materials during the meeting and reached a significant consensus. The meeting is also followed by the signing ceremony of Letter of Intent for bilateral cooperation.

 

The participants of this meeting include the Department of the CNNC International Cooperation and Development, the Nuclear Power Business Department, Nuclear Fuel Company and Zhongyuan Company.

 

During the stay in China, Tupinambá also paid a visit to the Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Engineering and Metallurgy, CNNC Beijing Research Institute of Uranium Geology (BRIUG), and the CNNC Jianzhong Nuclear Fuel Co., Ltd etc. They have had an in-depth study on the complete supply-chain capabilities of CNNC through this meaningful travel, which laid a foundation for their overall cooperative roadmap.
