On May 14, the 10th Russia International Nuclear Industry Exhibition (Atomexpo) was held in Sochi on the Black Sea coast. China National Nuclear Corporation （CNNC）presentedthe Hualong No.1 and the high-temperature gas-cooled in the exhibition.
CNNC, as China’s main player with Russia in nuclear energy, has exhibited itself for 10 consecutive years. In this exhibition, many experts and representatives focused on the technical characteristics and progress of Hualong No.1, the high-temperature gas-cooled reactor (HTGR), the new-type of nuclear fuel production, and the latest innovations in clean uranium mining.
The theme of this year’s exhibition was “Global Cooperation to Succeed” for a period of three days. More than 6,000 guests and visitors from 66 countries including China, Russia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, South Korea, and Australia attended the forum and EXPO.
