CNNC supports Jiangxi Province

In the meeting which is aimed to boosting the technological and capital cooperation on the Civil-Military integration products of Jiangxi Province, the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and Jiangxi Province reached a strategic cooperation agreement. The vice manager of CNNC and the deputy governor of Jiangxi province signed on the agreement witnessed by Mr. Liu Qi, the Governor of Jiangxi Province and Mr. Xu Zhanbin, the deputy director general of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.

According to the deal, two sides will fully use their own advantages to promote the nuclear industry development and on the other hand will strengthen the cooperation in the uranium exploitation and development, the integrated use of the associated resources, the application of the nuclear technology, the nuclear environmental protection engineering, the new energy power generation and the talents training. What is more, they will be dedicated to create the ecologically civilized business and build the Uranium Ore Base in Jiangxi Province and the associated resource utilization base to accelerate the prosperity of the nuclear geological and prospecting economy.

 

During the meeting, CNNC spokesman stated that CNNC and Jiangxi Province has enjoyed a long history of cooperation in multiple fields. And in the “13th Five-year Plan” period, CNNC will continue to increase the investment in Jiangxi province to bolster the local nuclear business.
