On May 14, Li Qingtang, deputy general manager of China National Nuclear Corporation, met with Li Hongguo, deputy secretary of Tsitsihar Municipal Party Committee, and Zhang Zhenrong, director of China First Heavy Industry Group. They communicated on jointly accelerating the development of the high-temperature gas-cooled reactor industry.
Li Hongguo reiterated that the high-temperature gas-cooled reactor project has broad development prospects and is of great significance to local development. Tsitsihar (Qiqihar City) will continue to promote cooperation with China National Nuclear Corporation and China First Heavy Industry Group as always. He suggested that the three parties in the future strengthen the connection at all levels and expand cooperation in nuclear industry.
