On August 21st, the 2019 Academic Annual Meeting of Chinese Nuclear Society (CNS) was inaugurated in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, the location of China’s first nuclear fuel component plant.
Lasting for 3 days, the academic annual meeting is noteworthy for its striking features–the opening ceremony, invitation report, high-end closed-door forum, nuclear medicine science lecture, youth forum, women’s forum, sub-conference report, posting report, technical visit, awarding team award and lifetime honorary award etc.
The main report discussed the future development of nuclear energy, the new form of nuclear power DCS in the intelligent era, and the prospect of nuclear fuel reprocessing technology, which have important reference value for the future development of nuclear science and technology.
It has invited 14 academicians, as well as more than 1,000 people from government departments, research institutes, nuclear-related enterprises and institutions.
Tips: As the most comprehensive, largest and most influential academic exchange platform in China’s nuclear science and technology sector, CNS annual meeting has been held every two years since 2009.
