The development of Uzbekistan’s nuclear infrastructure

On March 20, 2019, a meeting was held at the Agency Uzatom with a delegation of the French company Assystem to discuss the development of Uzbekistan’s nuclear infrastructure.

Frederic Cheneau, Nuclear Business Development Director, introduced Assystem to the management of the Agency “Uzatom” with the expertise in the field of nuclear energy.

In particular, the company’s specialists presented potential areas for further cooperation, including issues of training of personnel in Uzbekistan in the field of nuclear energy, the possibility of organizing a seminar in Tashkent for specialists in this field. Both sides discussed the opportunity of creating a joint engineering enterprise.

An agreement has been reached on establishing cooperation in the field of training and the development of Uzbekistan’s nuclear infrastructure.
