Doza installs radiation monitoring stations for Akkuyu NPP

For the Akkuyu NPP, Doza provides an Automated Radiation Monitoring System (ARMS), which includes 21 fixed stations for continuous remote radiation monitoring, a boat-based mobile radiology laboratory, and equipment to complement the mobile radiology laboratory vehicles. ARMS will continuously monitor the radiation and meteorological situation in the SPZ and in the AE area of the NPP in all modes of operation, including accidents based on design and accidents beyond design basis.

Control stations are equipped with gamma-ray detection units, radiometric installations, meteorological complexes, as well as uninterruptible power supplies, which, in the event of a power outage in external power networks, ensure uninterrupted operation of equipment for at least 72 hours.
