East China Electric Power Design Institute

Founded in Shanghai in 1953, East China Electric Power Design Institute (ECEPDI) is a regional electric power engineering company operating directly under China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group Corporation (CPECC).

ECEPDI is one of the “100 Most Powerful Engineering Company in China” and possesses the certificates of the National Quality Management System, the Environmental Management System and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

ECEPDI is an independent legal entity possessing the “Grade A” qualification certificates of Engineering Survey and Design, Investment Cost Consultation, Environmental Impact Assessment, Project EPC, Engineering Consultation, Project Supervision, Surveying & Mapping, and Marine Engineering, etc. In addition, it has been authorized to develop business abroad.

The major business of ECEPDI includes the Planning of Electric Power System, the Surveying, Engineering, Consulting, Supervision, and EPC of Thermal, Nuclear and other types of Power Generation Projects and Power Transmission and Distribution Projects of Extra High Voltage and Ultra High Voltage. In March 2008, ECEPDI was authorized by the Ministry of Construction the “Comprehensive Grade A” qualification of engineering and design.
