Egypt contracts a global consultant for the second phase of El Dabaa nuclear power project

The Egyptian Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, has agreed to contract with a foreign consultancy firm to provide consultancy services for the second phase of the first Egyptian nuclear power plant in El Dabaa.

In a statement, the Council of Ministers announced that the consultancy services for the second phase of the project will end in December 2019, as a complement to the consultancy work carried out by the firm in the first phase.

Gowling WLG has acted as the legal adviser in the negotiation of the contracts for the El Dabaa nuclear power plant since November 2015.
