Energy alliance between France and India

During his visits to France, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Edouard Philippe. He discussed several subjects, including Defense, shipping sector, space cooperation, and information technology. On the energy side, Narendra Modi reviewed the Jaitapur nuclear plant project and the International Solar Alliance in third countries, especially in Africa.

After a short visit to the UAE and Bahrain, the Prime minister came back for the G7 summit in France. The Prime Minister shared India’s experiences of the success of digital technology for public welfare, biodiversity, and the impact of climate change.
