From nuclear medicine to the electronics industry

For the nuclear engineer Verónica Garea, the Argentine company INVAP leads the market of nuclear reactors because it does a job “that allows the client enjoys the technology until the last neutron”. Nations from all over the globe turn to Argentine reactors for uses ranging from nuclear medicine to the electronics industry.

The company has six reactors in operation at this moment, which will be delivered “turnkey”, and include both the technology and the building structure in which it will be housed. “It is a very multidisciplinary work in which professionals from areas as different as engineering or architecture work.”

The reactors, whose price does not fall below 200 million dollars, give work to a group of workers composed entirely of Argentines, to which personnel of the buyer country is added only in the stage of construction of civil works.
