Hualong No. 1 International Training Center unveiled

On November 12th, Hualong No. 1 International Training Center was inaugurated at Fuqing Nuclear Power site, where the Hualong No. 1 demonstration project is located. It is a specific initiative to implement the strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding between China National Nuclear Corporation and Tecnatom in June this year. The two parties will rely on the establishment and operation of the Hualong No. 1 International Training Center to establish an international and digital Hualong training system in accordance with the highest international Training service standards.

According to the agreement, CNNC will bring the cutting-edge Hualong series technology and its extensive experience as a nuclear operator to the Training Center. As an international training leader, Tecnatom will provide long-term experience in designing and co-operating the Hualong No. 1 International Training Center and implement an effective training paradigm.

*Tecnatom, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, was established in April 1957. It specializes in providing specialized services for power, especially nuclear power. It has core technologies in centralized control of nuclear power, human factors engineering, simulation, non-destructive testing, training, etc. Meanwhile it conduct business activities in a range of industrial areas such as new energy, railway transportation and aerospace. Since the training service for the first operators in Qinshan NPP of China, it has provided training service to Fuqing, Fangjiashan, Hainan and Sanmen nuclear power projects. Tainatong has established long-term cooperation and friendly relations with China National Nuclear Corporation and its affiliates.
